33cl Bottle from Sterk. Hazy pale golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma of citrus, pale malts, wheat, light spicy. Flavour is light to medium sweet, wheat, citrus, yeast, light hoppy bitter finish. Light bodied. OK, expected it to be a bit more hoppy but it’s tasty enough.

Colour clear medium amber, tall frothy off-white head, half-way lasting, fair lacing. Aroma pale malts, lemon, orange peel, straw. Flavour medium bitter and sweet, malty, grainy, citrusy. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, dry bitter aftertaste, chalky and husky notes. Overall not malty enough for an amber ale, tastes more like an IPA, overall okay but lacking some body.

Billynomates solo hotel tasting. Hazy gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy with modest fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, light creamy sweetness. Slightly wonky orange hops, whisper of hop spice. Mild tangerine and peach. Soft fluffy finish. It’s okay but has a somewhat aged feel about it.
