Bottle courtesy of Marcel Scarpato via Craig, cheers guys! Consumed at home listening to Katy J Pearson - Someday, Now, Friday 4th October 2024, in the company of Craig and Stella, we had Stifado and Roast Potatoes for tea. Pours black without too much of a head. The nose is a little bit boozy, however it's chocolate and coconut also. In the mouth it's very much a Bounty bar, lots of coconut and milk chocolate, the barrel ageing is also very noticeable in the mouth. Fabulous beer.

Bottle courtesy of Marcel Scarpato via Craig, cheers guys! Consumed at home listening to Floating Points - Cascade, Friday 4th October 2024, in the company of Craig and Stella. This pours black with a little light beige film, thick mouthfeel, the fruitiness (blueberries) shows and adds a tanginess to the proceedings, thick mouthfeel. Once again the aroma with a Spartacus beer is quite pronounced. I like this but it would be very interesting to try the barrel aged version which is incredibly 5% stronger.

Bottle courtesy of Marcel Scarpato via Craig, cheers guys! Consumed at home listening to The Ensoulment, Friday 4th October 2024, in the company of Craig and Stella. This pours yolky yellow with a mid sized white head, very perfumey aroma, a little pithy. Certainly doesn't taste 8.1%, quite surprised as it's very easy drinking. Initially I wasn't a huge fan but it's growing on me now, the citrus is quite zappy, perhaps a little passion fruit also.
