Description

Bottled. Hazy brown/orange colour with huge foamy head. Strong bananaish aroma with unpleasant hints of yeast. Bitter wheaty and yeasty flavour which turns into bana in finish. A bit thin palate.

An orange beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light citrus notes. The flavor is sweet malty and the end is dry - no bad for a low alcohol beer.

An unclear orange-brown beer with a nice head. The aroma is very wheaty combined with strong notes of banana. The flavor is also very wheaty, but here notes of oranges are evident.

Rerate at XXXLutz. Perfumed nose. Grey golden, still spice forward and sliightly dry, but enough banana fruitines to balance, quite ok.

Cloudy orange, good head buildup. Metallic clove aroma. Dry dusty and metallic flavors - definetely lacks fruit. Also could need a more bready mouthfeel - its a rather thin weissbier.

Bottle. A raisin and chalky aroma. Dark brown color with small head. Slightly sweet raisin flavor with chalky/astrigent finish. A pretty good beer especially from Binding.

Bottle. Nice malty banana and clove aroma. Light brown color - clear with decent head. Very bland flavor - light malt and banana flavor. Now I’ve tried all three types of Schöfferhoffer Weizens I can say that while they are not horrible, they are the weakest examples of Weizens that I’ve came across in Germany - you’re pretty much better off choosing any other German Weizen.
