Description

50 cl bottel served in a pint glass. A very hazy amber-to-orange pour with a rocky, steady, off-white head. Aroma is banana, smoke, leather, porridge, hints of cardboard. Dry, quite full-bodied, slick, crisp (but just there.) No bitterness whatsoever in the short-lasting finish.

Slightly hazy, dark golden pour. Aroma is quite faint, I got malt and citrus. Taste was mainly lemons and malt - not your standard alcohol-free Hefeweizen, but not necessarily in a good way.

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy golden body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of tinned pineapple and orange jelly. Flavour of juicy pineapple, pear drops and the orange bit from a Jaffa cake. Thin body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. It’s well made but I found the flavour a bit sweet and cloying, whereas the grapefruit version I could drink lots of.

11.2 oz. can, 2.5% ABV, Best Before: 09.21.23
AROMA: Moderate scent of grapefruit and nothing else.
APPEARANCE: Pours a cloudy, dull orange with a tall, white, tightly frothy head that dissipates slowly with moderate lacing.
TASTE: It's moderately sweet with a touch of sourness. There's a nice amount of grapefruit flavor which is then followed by a bit of tartness in the finish.
MOUTHFEEL: Medium-bodied with slightly tacky texture. Carbonation is a little above average.
OVERALL: Let's face it. With such a low ABV, this really shouldn't be classified as a beer. I wouldn't even classify it as a Radler/Shandy. It's more like a fruit juice with a splash of beer. Having said that, the fruit juice is fairly tasty. This beer was part of a variety pack that included Grapefruit, Passion Fruit, Pomegranate, and Wild Cherry flavors. The Grapefruit is definitely my favorite as it has lots of fruit flavor with a bit of tartness. is not overly sweet, and seems to have a slightly fuller body than the other 3. On a hot day, this drink is VERY refreshing!
Of the 4, I would only consider buying the Grapefruit and Passion Fruit again. They had a fair amount of flavor and a fuller body than the other 2. The Wild Cherry and Pomegranate versions were very watery and lacked any real flavor.

Other than that, it makes for a nice, low-alcohol drink that is refreshing on a hot day and perfect for pool parties or BBQs.

AROMA: Medium scent of pomegranate with cherry and blood orange undertones. I also get a kind of chemical impression, throughout, that I find off-putting.
APPEARANCE: Pours a cloudy reddish-amber, with an incredibly tall, reddish-white, tightly frothy head that dissipates slowly with moderate lacing.
TASTE: It's moderately sweet with mild pomegranate flavor. Given its strong aroma I was really expecting something with more intense flavor. Instead, I get mild, pomegranate flavor with a hint of wheat on the finish.
MOUTHFEEL: Medium-bodied with slightly watery texture. Carbonation is about average.
OVERALL: Let's face it. With such a low ABV, this really shouldn't be classified as a beer. I wouldn't even classify it as a Radler/Shandy. It's more like a fruit juice with a splash of beer. Which wouldn't be so bad if it was tasty fruit juice. However, the flavor is a little too subdued for my tastes (no pun intended). For me, this one is a no-go.
