Pours rather unclear, slightly orange . No real head . Smell is hoppy , with a mango tone , very fruity ( like fruitjuice almost ) Taste is bitter up front , turns very full on fruits in aroma . So much aroma that you get a foggy , fruity tastesensation which is hard to sescribe . A crazy mix of all kinds of fruits you can imagine to find in hops .

Bomber that I serendipitously stumbled across at Pilgrim’s. Aroma is Christmas tree hardcore pine, catty, butthole, SweeTarts, perfume, faint caramel. Pours hazy orange with a large cream-colored head with excellent retention; curtains of lace sheet the glass. Taste is citrusy, piney, fairly bitter with some candy sweetness in the background. It’s imperial strength, but it doesn’t show it; tastes like a regular IPA. Mouthfeel is somewhere between creamy and cottony, medium to full body. This is the IPA I was looking for last night but didn’t find. I definitely saved the best for last.

On tap at Harry’s Hofbrau for IPA day of SF beer week. Sweetness and mango dominate nose. Hazy orange-gold with full, sustained white head. Taste seems restrained but clean. Peach, pine and resin. Moderate high bitterness.

It’s quite good. I think this beer was bottled about eight days ago, and it’s wonderfully bright and fresh. Lots of hop flavor, particularly in the taste. Big on pine and pineapple and fairly dank. Moderate to mild bitterness. The malt character is simple and just provides enough sweetness to keep hop flavor rather than bitterness at center stage. Easy to drink for the 8.5% abv. Smooth feel, probably a bit lower than average carbonation.

22 oz bottle pour shared. Thanks Tcon for sharing this. This was bottled about a week ago. Gotta love it when it’s this fresh. I don’t think I’ve ever had a beer that I had to wait to open, per the brewers request. Pours a tinted red orange color with a lasting fizzy head. Wonderful fresh hops aroma. Love the name by the way. A double IPA with a regular IPA feel, but a ton of flavor. Minimum bitterness. Semi dry hoppy flavor throughout with a minty, cool hop finish. Not a whole lot much more to say. This is a badass, super fresh tasting, delicious, really well done IPA. Loved it.

Tap. Pours hazy butterscotch, small white creamy head, nice lacing. Aroma is light, tropical, dank and resinous, touch of pot, guava, stone fruit. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, juicy and resinous, just a touch of lingering bitterness. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel.
