On tap (not cask) at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours dark copper with off-white. Aroma of caramel, dark dried fruits, dark bread, some hoppy notes. Tastes slightly sweet with balancing bitterness and some fruity sourness. Thin to medium bodied. Nice beer.

Cask-conditioned at the Phoenix York 12/9/2023. Dark brown in colour with reddish undertones and a tight, off-white, head. Lots of sweetish chocolate character upfront. The old ale then kicked in with some rich and slightly toasty malts, red berries, and oak before a malty finish with a touch of bitterness. Fine as a novelty, but this beer reminded me how good Old Peculier itself is, without any additives.
