Sampled from 0.5 l can from local 'LIDL' as ' Strongbow Gold Apple' at 4.5% abv, best before May 2019. Clear, pale golden with a thin, fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, a little sourish, quite fruity and just a little artificial aroma of green apples and hints of pear. Quite sweet, minimally sourish, quite fruity and minimally artificial taste of green apples and some pear, followed by a short, slightly tart, a bit dry finish. Thin to medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Decent cider, but too sweet.

15/VII/18 - on tap @ Gentopia (Kinderdorp Gentse Feesten) - BB: n/a (2018-839)

Note: not entirely sure it's this version, but it was draft, so not a super rare one, yet also not very sweet and sugary, so I'm guessing it's this one. Also, the banners on the stand showed pictures of the Gold and some fruit variety. As to be expected, the ones tapping had no clue...
Clear bright yellow cider, no head, just a couple of small bubbles at the rim of the glass. Aroma: apple juice, apple skin, green and yellow apple, slightly sweet impression, doesn't smell too bad actually. MF: very lively carbon (probably because it's on draft), medium body. Taste: alcohol kick up front (weird), little bitter, bit sourish, apple juice, bit sugary but not overly sweet. I've had much sweeter and worse ciders than this one, TBH. Question is of course what they've added, probably a bunch of chemical stuff. Hell, I'll look it up. Here you go: "Water, cider (fermented apple juice with glucose), glucose-fructose syrup, caramel, citric acid, carbon dioxide, sodium metabisulhite, natural flavouring, sulphites"

Bottle at home, 29/06/18. Light pinkish colour with a faded crimson cap. Nose is pink apple, sugars, straw, grains. Taste comprises bitter sweet apple, residual sugars, grass, sweet tones, apple skins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Refreshing enough fayre on a hot day if a touch too sweet.

5.1 ounce can. Pours a pinkish yellow hue with a small white head. A sweet fruity nose. Smooth, clear sweet apples, maybe some light berries, a light sweet tart element. OK. Nothing great.

5.1 ounce can. Pours a clear golden hue with a small white head. A big sweet apple juice nose. Sweeter than the regular one, some crisp green apples, but some tartness climbs in. Pretty drinkable.

5.1 ounce can from a really cheap and cool 4 pack sampler pack. Pours a clear golden hue. A nice sweet apple nose. Sugary, very sweet, almost slick apples. Fleshy sweet apples. Not bad.

Sampled from a clear bottle this cider poured a cloudy golden-apricot color with a small foamy white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was sweet sugar, pear and apple soda. The flavor was apple, pear, yeasty and surprisingly rich. Medium length finish. Medium body.
