Bottle 33 cl. Apparently a tuned down version from the original 9.3% ABV. Pours a hazy black with an orange hue and a creamy, beige head. Aroma has some licorice and a very discreet perfumy whiff. Medium body, again salty licorice mainly with a late, bitter finish. Decently made. 260417

Svart med fingerhøyt lys brunt skum. Lukter solbær vingummi, kaffe, pepper og noe animalsk lukt mot kjøtt og lær. Søtlig lakris og vingummi. Lett kaffebitterhet. Middels lang.

Slightly unclear pale golden colour, small frothy white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Fruity nose, aroma grain, lemon, orange peel, yeast, no honey. Taste medium sweet and light sour, grainy, citrusy, spicy notes. Dry bitter lemon aftertaste, woody notes. Medium body, oily to watery texture, soft carbonation, fresh and tasty.

[ As South Plains Monster Mash ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, sweet malt, vegetables, yeast ? Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel, yeast, alcohol, earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in October 2016. Hazy golden/yellow with a small white head. Aroma of light citrus, bread and some vegetables. Similar taste. The body was light as was the bitterness.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Cloudy golde´n, miniscule fizzy head. Aroma of green apples, honey and boiled cabbage. Sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Milky and apply with honey and vegetables. Low bitterness. Pilsner only as in Carlsberg’s interpretation. Lacking just about everything I enjoy with beer.
