Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 29/01/21. Black with a khaki covering that veers edgeward. Nose is cacao nibs, good red wine barrel vibes, dark malts, red grape must, light spice. Taste comprises sweet fruits notes, chocolate, brown sugars, plummy notes, light roast, spice, vinous tones, grape must. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of balanced alcohol. Interesting Impy ... gets the Pinot Noir across well ... fair complex effort.

Sample thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours purple with a pink head. Lots of blueberry on the nose. Sour, tart taste. Not much of the cheesecake, but plenty of fruit.

Can. Appearance - deep purple with a creamy pink fluffy head. Nose - blueberry and blackberry with a leafy berry edge. Light funk. Taste - blueberry and blackberry again. Funky too. Palate - light to medium bodied. Tangy sour middle and finish. Overall - good.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 20/01/21. Very lightly hazed golden amber with a well presented off white cap. Nose is orange pith, grapefruit esters, grass, light pine, melon. Taste comprises sweet malts, orange pith, pine needle, light caramel notes, grapefruit, grass, mango. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced juicy come sweetly resinous hop bitterness. Ok DIPA ... has an old skool lilt to it.

Panda at home thanks to SHIG. A brushed gold coloured pour, light haz, loose white head. Aroma is orange rind, chamomile, melon balls, light wheat, sticky orange. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, malts, sticky orange , perfume, chamomile, some mango. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, moderate carbonation. Hides the alcohol very well.

Can: Poured a black with a light brown head. Aroma is barrel, oaky, vineous, pinot noir. Taste is winey, high boost, chocolate, roasty malts, very complex, pinot noir prevelant.

Bottle from the Virtual Salford Independent Beer Festival Thursday night box. Aroma of tart cherries and black chocolate. Dark and murky. The head is limited to a few frothy beige bubbles. Initial light-medium sourness with some fruity sweetness. Bitter chocolate and booze then comes through alongside the cherry sournes. Some sweeter malty chocolate notes. But as I drink more it's the sour cherry that's most prominent with that boozey edge. Light-medium bodied. Creamy oily . Average carbonation. Astringent finish. The different elements work well together and it just slips down.

17/1/2021. Can sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Pours cloudy dark gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of ripe tropical fruit, citrus, melon, touch of biscuit and toffee. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Medium to full body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Enjoyed this.

Can: Poured a hazy yellow orange with white bubble head. Aroma is juicy, hoppy, citrus, melon, tropical. Taste is juices, tropical fruit, citrus, acidic, hops bitterness, overall juicy fruits linger around the palate.
