Bottled. Mahogany colour. Lightly flowery and very malty. Slightly salty and rather sweet with notes of toffee. Holds up very well at a head to head comparison with dutch bocks.

A work in progress for some time now, it is a bit thin, kind of nutty, and needs more hops.

Deep amber; malty, slightly caramelly character with brandyish undertones. A little heavier than previous years, but still a little light for style. Still, fans of the sweeter beers might get into it.

Deep red ale with soft raspberry aroma. Unlike many fruit ales the flavours are well melted together.

Orange coloured. Yeasty, strange sharp malt flavour. No - this is quite the opposite of the soft, creamy flavors I like in an Oktoberfest.

Very few redeeming qualities in this featherweight quencher. At least in Vancouver I could get a wheat ale with some flavour.

In a town with Denison's Maibock, Creemore Urbock, Brick Anniversary Bock, and even Niagara Eisbock, it's hard to get up for this relatively lightweight, simplistic (albeit fairly refreshing), grainy example.
