Can from Beer52. Pours near black with small beige to tanned top. Big roasted coffee bean aroma as expected with some cocoa. Taste of roasted coffee, caramel, chocolate and has a light creaminess to it, On fleeting sips it reminded me of a tiramasu, not that its a particularly dessert like dark.

Can from Beer52. Clear gold with small white top. Sweet flora and gentle mandarin on the nose. Taste start a bit bland with a hint of mandarin but then a floral resin bitterness kicks in with some peppery spice. Mid bodied, slick. Its ok, good finish but not a great example of the style being a little too close to a standard golden ale.

Can from LCB, in date by 4 months. Hazy orange with fluffy white head to start although recedes. Aroma of mango, orange, coconut, light malts. Taste has that sweet tangy mango and citrus with some semi-creamy coconut. Light underripe mango and leafy bitterness in the finish. Quite nice actually - urgh; a catchy name that drags everyone down.

Can from Beer52. Semi-hazy gold with nice white top. Aroma of passionfruit, pineapple, mango, some green notes. Taste is also very fruity and tropical, sweet middle and slightly more bitter than your average NEIPA but gives nice balance. Medium bodied but goes down easily, fine carbonation. A fine beer.

Can from lowcostbeer.com, consumed 2 years in date. Cloudy reddish brown with slight pink tinged head. Dried fruit slightly jammy aroma - plums, apricots, raisins. Also creamed oats come through. Taste of oats, caramel, stewed stone fruits, herbal bitter hops, slightly boozy in finish. Full bodied, oily, soft carbonation. A warming beer, enjoyable.

Can from lowcostbeer.com, consumed 2 months past BBE. Hazy orange-gold with small white top. Sweet fleshy guava on the nose, some wheat and dustiness. Taste has a slight wheat and sherbet quality but it could easily be mistaken for a standard flavoured pale ale. Very juicy with guava coming through well. Light tartness but not sour. Light bodied, semi-drying, refreshing. Enjoyable if not quite to style.

Can from lowcostbeer.com. Hazy light gold with white foamy head. Nice freshness in the aroma - fruity but nice honest malts. Soft apricot and peach fruitiness, slightly tart but certainly not sour. Has a dry salty finish. Nice soft mouthfeel. Good balance to this.

Tap at Stadbrouwhuis, Leiden: Clear dark brown coloured brew with an sweet start and get an bit drier with subtle sourness. Hints of caramel, chocolate, roasted malt and red berries

Cloudy yellow. White, medium foam, falls quickly. Sweet tropical fruits dominate the aroma and taste, with mango, pineapple and passion fruit at the forefront. Sweet tangerines and oranges in the background, a bit of grain and grass. Not very high carbonation, sweetness in the upper regions. Nice.
