Description
The founders of Naastbos are located in Breda. The goal of Naastbos is to brew special craft beers, with a unique taste. We use breweries that best match our beers. In order to develop an optimal taste, we first brew smaller batches with different types of malt, hops, aroma etc. We experiment a lot: blond, white, stout, triple, pale ale and much more. Only when the beer is perfect, we brew on a large scale and the consumer can also enjoy it!

30/III/25 - 33cl bottle as a gift, shared @ Mattie’s birthday breakfast, BB: II/2025, lot 22015 (2025-313) Thanks to Arno & Meggy for the bottle!
Little cloudy dark amber brown beer, small creamy to aery off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of caramel, vanilla, lots of butterscotch, a hint of chocolate. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: soft acidity, lots of caramel, butterscotch, a little sweet, vanilla, caramel. Aftertaste: more caramel, vanilla, dark caramel and caramel flan, not so much white chocolate, more caramel flan. Pretty darn tasty, nonetheless.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Roasty aroma with coffee, caramel, some caramel, yeasty notes. Powdery chocolate. Medium sweet and mild bitter. Body is medium. Bit of a Belgian thing going on, roasty with coffee. Easy.

Can. Murky dull dark orange to light brown. Lots of caramel, lychee, soft sugar, roasted pineapple, earthy, resinous hops. Medium sweet and bitter. Very thick syrupy body, the fruit purée is really noticeable here. Not as bad as I feared, it’s not very artificial. But it’s also not a NEIPA and the fruit isn’t very nice.

33cl Blik, dank Chris! Dit was niet de avond van de fantastische bieren, en deze droeg daar aan bij. Wort, zoet, moutig, rotte lactose, gist, licht hoppig, nee hier moet nog flink aan gesleuteld worden. Lichte body.

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Brown color, small beige head. Smell and taste malts, sweetish, brown candy sugar. Tastes pretty much like a double instead of a stout. Certainly don't get coffee.
