25 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Coop, Culemborg. Bottle was a gusher, which is a bit surprising in a lager. Didn’t look, smelled or tasted infected though. Slightly hazy yellow with a firm white head. Grainy aroma with some hops. Taste is bitter and finish also. Quite a nice pilsener.

On tap at PINT BBF ’14. Sold as Schiere Monnik Bock, but that’s not what the tap handle said. Hazy amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of banana, light spicy, yeast, some caramel. Flavour is medium sweet, watery, spicy, yeasty, banana, some caramel, light bitter finish. Light-bodied. Not great.

Bottle shared at Chriso’s mid-week lasting 03/07/14. Hazed yello hay coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is orange and lemon citrus, peel, dry, nice wit yeast presentation. Flavour is composed of sweet orange peel, hay, wit yeast phenols, doughy wheat grains. Palate is soft and a biut flabby and grainy on the tongue. Not a bad wit.
