Bottled. Hazy dark brown, small beige head. Caramelly malt dominatet he nose. Sweeting with soothing cottony soft mouthfeel. Slimmer than expected but still full of toffee and with cranberry tartness. The finish holds some spun sugar but no bitterness. Mild, yet flavourful with no edges whatsoever. Both interesting and enjoyable.

Bottled. Cloudy orange, lively head. Fruity estery nose. Sweet with concentrated juicy fruit flavours combined with dense doughy malt. Full bodied. Tropical fruits and esters are there. Salty finish with some light arousing alcohol.

Pours dark amber with off white head. Aromas of dark fruits and sweetness. Fruity sweetness, raisins, plums, bread, and Belgian yeast. Medium body with lively carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. A decent BSA.

Courtesy of CigarCityBrew. Pours hazy gold with a hint of straw and carrying a bright white head. The aroma is mild with light colored fruity esters, honey, some banana and some sort of tartness that rises up. The taste is mild and smooth to start bringing in some fruitiness from apricots and apples along with honey, a hint of grainy malts, some banana and faint bubble gum. Very sessionable tripel.

750ml bottle. Came gushing out upon opening the cap. Deep brown-amber color with a large, slowly fading head. Bottle describes it as a Special Belgian Dubbel, which is a lot more relevantly descriptive than "Belgian Strong Ale". More of a a fruity malt delight than a sweet dark candi sugar Dubbel. The yeast profile and soft mouthfeel will be familiar if you’ve had other De Glazen Toren stuff. Mellow and drinkable, with a pungent, fruity caramel taste that works quite well.

Pours amber with big tan head. Smokey aroma with some caramel. Sweet and slightly smokey flavor with sweet maltiness and brown sugar and dark fruits with a barely noticable taste of alcohol. Quite peppery. Medium body with lots of carbonation and a sticky mouthfeel.

Amber with a big off-white head. Tropical fruits like peach and yeast in the nose, not unlike a peach tea, plus some caramel. Dry and malty flavour with a certain fruity sweetness, and a nice slightly bitter finish.

Bottle at TheWolf@supertasting. Pours hazy golden with a creamy lasting head. Aroma is very spicy - lots of coriander & wheaty notes. Good soft & smooth body. A bit citric but very nice Imperial witbier!

My 1600th rating. Bottle@TheWolf. Pours deep orange/amber with a lasting white head. Sweet aroma of fruits & malty caramel. Creamy & soft mouthfeel. Fruity orange/banana & yeasty notes. Dry & lasting end. Very nice!
