Can pour from Total Wine & More, West Hollywood. Lightly hazy, red/amber, thin ring of head, trace lacing. Aroma is nut, caramel. Taste is caramel, mild bittering hops. Smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. A red ale per style.

That’s a strange beer. It does exactly what it says on the name—lots of watermelon, lots of mint, grapefruit, pine. It works for that, I’m just not sure what to make of the layering.

I don’t understand this trend of adding spice to a poured beer—cinnamon/chocolate/etc. I feel like if the brewer wanted more, should have used it in the process. That said, a good, dry ish chocolate stout. The raspberry is there, but not dominant.
