Medium brown body and minimal creamy foam. Very boozy malt smell, cloying fusels, rather harsh. Flavour is much the same, chewy malt and plenty of booze, eases off with the alcohol. Still drinkable but very much a paint by numbers barleywine.

Cloudy yellow body and okay foam. Soft candy hops on the nose, slight burlapped pine. Flavour is nice malted pinapple, pine notes, sugary finish but not cloying. Nothing exemplary here but a decent hoppy pale ale.

Very light pale straw colour and fast gone foam. Soft sharp grain aroma of no distinction. Flavour is soft sweet grain, vague hops. Ends wet and sugary. Easy and simple but I can see the appeal for a backyard beer.

Good clear gold body and nice full foam. Soft sweet corn and light grain aroma. Flavour is nice sweet hops, sugary grain. Ends full with lingering sweetness in a good way. Not a bad lager at all.

Okay brown body and mediocre foam. Nice light caramelly cereal on the nose, chewy, bright. Flavour is dark chewy grain, malty and bitter; lingering sweetness, minimal carbonation. The maltiness is admirable but ends up a little thin; halfway there.

Medium clear gold body and little foam, very soft floral hops.on the nose, smooth sweet grain. Flavour is mellow lager hops, light grain sweetness. Nicely full and some fruity lingering notes. Still, not too exciting.

Muddy reddish brown body and bad foam, sharp biscuity hazelnut on the nose with nothing to back it up. Flavour is watery biscuit, coffee notes, chocolate maybe. Very wet, and not in a good way. Quite mediocre.
