Pours a hazy dark yellow that throws up a big sticky white head. Funky aroma that is tart and acidic. Dry palate right from the start. The flavor is only mildly tart and not too sweet. A light body makes this quite drinkable. The flavor is not as assertive as the aroma hinted at, but this is a decent attempt however.

Thanks to cmaruschak for sharing. Pours reddish-brown with a medium thin off-white head with good retention. Thin patches of lacing throughout. The aroma is spiced gingerbread and earthy malt. Medium-bodied with a spicy character. Gingerbread flavor is not too strong, and there are some hops and caramel flavors as well. The finish is short and spicy with vanilla and malt aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Draft. Rich copper beer with a nice off-white head. Fruity grapefruit aroma. Fruity, grapefruit, slight garlic flavor with malt backing. Lingering garlic - doesn’t have the big fruity summit flavor that the other IPAs did (this is the first that really hit me with the garlic flavor people mention). Medium bodied.

22oz bomber. Well first thing. This looks and smells like a German lager. It had a golden color with thin white head. The carbonation seemed on the low side. The aroma was sweet lightly roasted malts, citrus and floral hops. The flavor has some sweet malts then the coriander and citrus – grapefruit hops mix to create a floral type flavor. The taste is growing on me as I consume the beer. There is a full grapefruit and slight coriander after taste that sticks with you for a while.

Bottle. Golden amber beer with a huge off-white head. Malty, spicy, yeasty, lemon aroma. Yeasty, spicy, dusty, malty flavor with backinglemony citrus. Nice complexity, but light enough to be very drinkable. Medium bodied. Higher carbonation.

Bottle pours a hazy light amber/yellow witha lively fizy white head. Spotty lkacing. Aroma is citursy and spicy. Fairly mild. For a saison the belgian yeasty flavors and spiciness was a bit tame and easy to drink. The bright hoppiness was nice.

22oz bomber from 2005. Dark copper color with thin off white head. Medium strength malty and fruity aroma. Taste is sweet with some malt complexity. There’s some dark fruit like cherries or dates along with roasted malts. Near the finish some bitterness wells up and becomes overly grassy during the aftertaste. The finish begins to take on the nasty flavor of cough syrup. Not good. The aroma too. I haven’t had an English Style Barleywine that taste like this. The grassiness and the cough syrup made me pour about half down the drain. Really far from good. Yet anther in a long line of disappointing organic beers.
