Draft. A dark amber beer with a very fast disappearing tan head. The aroma is sweet mlaty with notes of caramel and a light touch of diacethyl. The flavor is sweet malty with a good deal of caramel, but also light notes of diacethyl and dusty hops, leading to a slightly dry, herbal, and diacethyl finish. The body is thin inspite of the 5.5% ABV.

Draft. An unclear orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with cloying notes of fruit combined with notes of cranberries. The flavor has light notes of burnt plastic malt combined with light notes of cranberries, dusty hops, and a light acidity, leading to a dry wheaty end.

Draught @ brew pub. Cloudy yellow/golden beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly lemony, and the flavour is banana and bubble gum. Overall more like a German wheat beer than a kolsch.

Hazy blond color. Aroma of sage and fruits, rosemary, peach; also flowery. Quite smooth texture, fresh, flowery, a bit herbal, light note of crispy malt. Weird but pleasant.

Hazy red amber color. Unfortunately the aroma shows more an infection than the smoked. The flavor is actually smokey, the body is too weak, caramel taste, some infection too. I don’t think it’s a great beer anyway, but it’s spoiled.

(On tap) Slightly hazy golden with a dense, white head leaving laces. Somewhat sweet malty, nose. Medium body with extremely sweet malt - and perhaps I do sense the added roses. The finish is very soft without the usual brutal Apollo bittering hops. Actually this unusual beer leaves a somewhat soapy, sweet feel on my palate. 140407
