Keg at the brewpub, RBESG ’15 day 2, 21/08/15. Rich mahogany brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is malt forward, toffee, dark fruit rinds, raisens. Taste comprises light cocoa powder, biscuit, vanilla, light spice, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close, smooth on the palate. Decent dunkel.

From tap. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is estery to phenolic. Caramel. Bitter, dry estery to phenolic. Toasted malt. Dry and estery fruity finish.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is mild fruity, roasted. Bitter, roasted, chocolate. Light citric to solid bitter. Dry and dense chocolate finish.

Medium beige head. Clear deep dark red body. Earthy fruity aroma with mealy musty notes. Dry-sweet minty earthy taste with roasty notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry licorice and earth aftertaste with rye crisp bread notes. Vivid, fresh, interesting. (0.3l draft, Cafe Langebro, Copenhagen.)
