[ As Apollo Dobbelt Chokolade Stout ].Unclear dark dark brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, coffee, licorice, chocolate, bread. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140913]

[ As Apollo Dobbelt Bock ].Murky matt medium brown color with a large, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light roasted - toasted. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, caramel, sweet malt, dry, toasted, spicy - anis - fennel - licorice alike, grass notes. Tap@Café Langebro Ølbar, CPH (25/01/2015)- brown coloured pour with off-white head. Aroma and taste is roasted malts, caramel, toffee, nutty, twiggy hoppy, some dark fruity undertones, bitter finish. Quite a nice brown ale overall.
