Hazy - murky matt medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, palr malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, moderate yeasty, spicy, mint - bubble gum, fennel - licorice. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, citrus zest, spicy hops - yeast, fresh, fruity, spicy, fennel. From tap. Pours hazy dark brown with a small off white head. Aroma is toffee and roasted malt. Breadish and caramel. Smooth roasted, bitter, light fruity and dry breadish roasted. Smooth roasted, bitter and dry breadish into the finish. Solid. Vague unclean tap though.

On tap at Sct Clemens, Århus. It pours an unclear, dark brown body under a finger-thick, dense, light beige head. The aroma has licorice and roasted malts, mostly licorice that is. The same goes for the flavor, licorice dominates, with roasted malts in the back. Some roasted kind of bitterness. It’s full-bodied and dryish on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. Some coffee shows up in the finish, which as the initial flavor and aroma is dominated by licorice and roasted malts. A one dimensional beer, but nice indeed. 140804
