Welfare rating. Missus got this for 69p. Don’t know where from, but I’m chugging it stood in the kitchen at 3am, after just finishing work. Which sort of suits the beer. It’s perfectly drinkable, in a malty, grassy hopped kind of way. If she’d pushed the boat out and got me two, I’d have probably necked that, too.

Clear deep golden color with fine head. Good intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation level. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Ginger, malty and citric flavor. Decent refreshing ale.

Bottle at home bargains for the pricely sum of 69p.... It pours clear golden - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is pretty subdued, bready, grainy, biscuit, grass and a touch of lemon. The taste is crisp, quite clean, toasty grain, lemon - lime, metallic and grass with a drying finish. Light - medium body and average. Fairly bland, but not bad per se.

33 cl bottle poured in to a Tulip. Hazy amber-golden colour with a thin white head. Fruity aroma with citrus fruits, grasses, some cardboard and a lightly toasted note. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with vague citrus fruits. More cardboard. Nothing special. Lacks a decent hopping.

33 cl bottle. Clear golden colour with an amber tint. Thin white head. Sweet spiced aroma with honey and pale malts. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry and herbal sweet. Okay summers beer.

33cl bottle. Klare sehr hell gelbe Farbe. Geruch nach mild süßen Äpfeln, Zucker. Geschmack ist unangenehm fruchtig, künstliche Äpfel, naja.
