Tap. Dark brown in color. Aroma was grains and bread. Taste was a little closer to the malty side with a refreshing finish

Bottle. Very dark gold in color with hardly a head. Aroma was more like wine than beer. Taste was like a wine. Sweet all the way through but great tasting

Tap. Pours clear black, medium beige head, good lacing, Aroma is roasty, cocoa, hints of ash and tobacco. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body. Good

On tap at the brewery. Brown with off white head. Nice breadiness, some chocolate, cocoa, bit nutty, bitterish. Served way too cold though. Medium bodied.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy dark yellow with medium white head. Some banana, light cloves, sweetish. Somewhat bland. Medium bodied.
