Cask by stillage at One Inn The Wood, Petts Wood on 26th August 2022. Hazy amber with shallow off-white foam and pattern lacing. Nutty malts in aroma. Zesty citrus peel salts and nutty malts in-mouth. Lush finish of tangy citrus, hazelnut and caramel. Light bodied with a zingy mouthfeel. Gorgeous.

Cask by stillage at One Inn The Wood, Petts Wood on 26th August 2022. Hazy gold with shallow off-white ring-and-film affording scant lacing. Tropical fruits aroma with grapefruit peel. Tart grapefruit in-mouth with hints of peach and cheesecake, and a bitter citrus finish with peppery notes. Would pass as an accessible cask sour. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Handpull cask from the Blue Boar as part of their Sussex with Love festival, July 2022. Thin golden brown and clear with a small beige/khaki head. Big malt aroma, some dusty chocolate, light floral notes with sable grape. Complex taste: sweet with notes of raisin and chocolate with a slightly herbal finish laid bare with bittering hop. Body's very thin with soft carbonation. A well-crafted traditional mild.

Can ordered from Hoppily. Aroma has some pine, some resin and then a good dose of veg smeared cardboard. Light gold - then gets hazy when I pour more in. Bubbly. Thick foamy translucent white head. Medium bitter. Quite crisp. A sweet edge citrus tang. A touch herby. A hint of quinine. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Low key fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Not bad. Bitter with the right amount juiciness. Better than the cardboard aroma suggested it would be.

Cask @ Baum, Rochdale. Golden with a head. Has a fuller-bodied hoppiness and a mild sticky-sweetness in its texture.
