Aroma of malt, fruits, citrus, light yeast, light hops. Flavour is fruity, moderate sweetness, with a moderate bitter finish. I like this, it’s a straightforward heavier and fuller version of their regular Blond ale.

Aroma of fruits, citrus, yeast, light hops. Flavour is fruity, light to moderate sweet, with a fairly bitter finish. Good Blond ale, definitely above average.

2013 version drank 10/2014. Aroma of roasted malt, light coffee, dark fruits, some dark chocolate. Flavour is roasty, light sweet, with a dry bitter finish. Really nice Stout.

Aroma of malt, sweet dried fruits, caramel toffee, molasses, liquorice, date, mild spices. Flavour is big malty and caramel, dried fruits, quite sweet. Overall a bit too sweet for my taste, but the delicious aroma more than makes up for it. A true ’dessert beer’.

Bottle from Kisjes Slijterijen, Meppel. Aroma is stewed ripe fruits, yeast, malt, spicy notes, sugar, ripe banana, light oak and metallic notes. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Decent.

From tap at Taplokaal Gist, Utrecht. Nice leathery smoked roasted malt aroma with chocolate, notes of coffee, just the right level of smoke. Flavour is mild bittersweet, body is medium. Great drinkability, love it, very fine Smoked Porter.
