240cl bottle from bar at Hotel Idrissides in Marrakech. Pours clear gold with a little white head. Aroma is malt heavy with a little grass and straw. Taste is the same with a malty hit up front that mellows out with grass and grain. Not the worst Pale lager I have tried.

Bottle at Chesterfield pub in Marrakech. Pours golden amber with a thin white head. Aroma is a real malt hit with a little grain. Taste is grass and grain with a real strong malt backbone. Not terrible but not a world beater

Bottle at home. Bought from Inn At Home, Guildford. Grassy aroma. Gold. Initial head and bubbles soon die off. Post-curry this seems overly sweet, more so in to the finish. Light bodied. Slick with a softness to the finish. It’s fine. Not going to thirst for me but no worse and possibly more interesting than some macro pales.

Bottle. Barley malt aroma. Light yellow color with moderate head. Mildly sweet barley malt and mildly bitter hay flavor. Okay body. Pretty good - no off flavors - seemed better than the French version - smoother.

Bottle from Al Casbah, Cambridge. Light yellow with a small white head. Surprisingly little visible carbonation for a pale lager. Honey, grain and lemon rind aroma is simple but does the trick. The taste is slightly more adjunct-y, and not as nice once the beer warms, but it’s refreshing enough. Short to medium finish, crisp body. A passable refreshing lager.
