Cask. Shakespeare’s, Sheffield. Slightly dirty looking, fully hazy gold. Dense suds of white. Nose has raw hop leaf. Citrus peel. Toilet freshener. Sweet grain. Taste errs toward fresh hop bitterness, with some bready grain sweetness. Medium body. Pretty oily. Fine, brisk carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish.

Rich and malty with a little waft of strawberry and some lactose to make it a little ice creamy. Rich and smooth with a decent whack of chocolate in there as well. Very pleasant

Keg @ The Abbey. Pours a misty golden yellow, small white head. Aroma of floral citrus. Taste is bright floral citrus, some lime, citrus, interesting hop profile, but on the whole quite bright and easy-drinking.

Cask @ The Abbey. Pours dark, good cushion of tan foam. Big creamy chocolate nose. Taste is smooth, creamy chocolate with nice neapolitan swirls, great balance and excellent flavour profile, especially for cask.

On cask @ Monty's Bar. Appearance - golden with a gentle haze. Proportionate head. Nose - lemon and biscuit. Light resin. Taste - resin more pronounced, plant stalks and generally resiny notes. Palate - light bodied, crunchy and resiny. Very bitter finish. Overall - too bitter for me.

Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Near black with a small off-white creamy head. It's nutty-sweet, quite smooth in texture, with the sum of these parts providing a very recognisable ice cream styling.
