Innis & Gunn was contract brewed in Glasgow at Tennent's Wellpark Brewery since 2014. On 15 November 2018 Tennent's announced the brewing contract will be terminated with effect from September 2020. Innis & Gunn responded the following day by saying they plan on opening their own brewery.
The Innis & Gunn Brewery in Perth is our home for innovation and barrel-ageing. With plans to build a new large scale brewery in our hometown of Edinburgh, it will be the first new large brewery to be built in the capital in 150 years.

Appearance - golden and clear with a creamy white head.
Nose - lime, aloe vera and generally floral. Some bread and nuttiness from the malt.
Taste - lime and grapefruit, still some aloe vera lurking, still bready.
Palate - light bodied, zesty middle and finish.
Overall - decent.

Very light amount of whiskey, just a little cocoa, and a hint of vanilla. Purchased at the Tesco in Lerwick Shetland Islands UK.

330ml bottle from B&M Home Store, Darlington. Clear amber colour, white foam head and aroma of wood cask, oak, vanilla, dried fruits. Taste is sweet, butterscotch, malt, grains, some oak, woody, vanilla, light whisky notes, and slight mellow bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, lingering sweet wood cask finish. Quite drinkable.

From tap at a restaurant in Edinburgh. Grassy herbal hop aroma with soft grainy malt. Moderate bitter, finishes dry. Lovely crisp grassy Lager, well done.

From tap at Innis & Gunn Taproom, Edinburgh. Classic moderate IPA with a Cascade hop aroma. Lots of orange, malt, touch of grapefruit. Medium bitter and light sweet. Aroma is a bit modest, decent bitterness though.

Mørk brun med rødskjær og beige skum som daler sakte. Aroma røsted malt sjokolade vanilje wiskey. Smak sjokolade røsted malt whisky vanilje. Middels fylde, smaksrik, lett søtlig, fatpreg, en slitt men god stout. Flaske fra Systembolaget Strømstad

500 ml bottle. Pours a deep reddish brown with light head. Aromas of brown sugary caramel, oak, a bit of maple syrup, and toasted malts. Flavors of toasted oak, and dry toasted malts with just a bit of maple syrup and whisky.
