Bottled. Hazy brown colour with a mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is smoked meat, some bacony tones with some berry sweetness and mild toffee. Flavour is smoky, some mild toffeeish tones with mild grains and rye as well.

Can at home, golden beer, small head. Aroma is not much, sweet, malty, grain. Taste is the same, sweet, malt, grain, some bitter. Inoffensive as fuck, easy to drink.

Half-litre can, drank at home on 19th September 2022 while watching the Queen's funeral on TV (after some Sherry, Port and wine). Clean and clear golden body, white topping. Decent enough Helles, slightly malty, very slightly hoppy; aroma understated and mostly not anything. OK, it was wet and thirst quenching, but lacked depth, flavour and 'oomph'.

Bottle online from Beers Of Europe. Pours a murky brown/orange colour with a medium sized foamy off white head. Aromas of grains, hay and toasty bread with hints of nuts and caramel. Taste is more toasty bread, caramel, biscuits and a touch more sweet grains. Very malty with no bitterness. Thinnish almost watery body, low carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Lacking in body and a bit unbalanced but otherwise quite a decent beer.

In der Nase Getreide, im Trunk erinnert mich das dann aber sehr an ein so 08/15 Pale Lager aus Asien oder den USA. Ziemlich dünn, ebbt hinten sehr schnell weg. Zum Essen okay, aber weniger Flaschendesign und mehr Braukunst hätte dem Bier echt gut getan.

Geelbruin troebel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig en licht kruidig zoet met iets van gras, wat hooi en geroosterd brood. Is goed te drinken.
