Bottle 1l (PET) from the brewpub. Cloudy, amber colored beer. Aroma is weak, but nice, tones of citrus and tropical fruits, malt. Flavor is distinctively bitter, slightly sweet, medium bodied, malt base and citrusy hops- tangerines, grapefruit. Delicious taste of tangerines.
Brewer Kočka’s ale, great, as always.

Draught at Pivovarská restaurace, Děčín. Cloudy, green colored beer. Aroma of malts, bread, herbal tones. Silky malty flavor, a bit sweet, tones of hops and herbs, pleasant bitterness.
Green colored Czech pilsner, good one.

Draught at Pivovarská restaurace Děčín as Černý kormidelník. A little cloudy, dark brown colored beer. Aroma of coffee, roasted malts, chocolate. Medium bodied, well balanced, pleasant flavor of coffee, roasted beans, roasted malts.
Good beer.

Draught at the brewpub as "Kormidelník 13°". Black colored. AROMA- slightly sweet, roasted malts, roasted coffee beans, slight smokiness, touch of dark fruit. FLAVOR- dry, bitter, roasted malts and coffee, slight smokiness. Medium bodied.
Nice Czech adaptation of schwarzbier.

bottle from Pivkupectví Zlý Časy, Hlavní Město Piva. Hazy amber with a tall off-white head. Lovely and intense hop aroma. Good malty base with some dark malts and loads of aromatic hops, slightly fruity (mango, citrus fruit) and resiny-piney.

getrunken als "Admirál světlý ležák"
Dass ich dieses Bier betrunken habe, ist auch schon ein paar Jährchen her. Aber es hat mich damals wirklich überzeugt, vor allen da mich die Plastikflasche mit dem peinlich-kitschigen Etikett etwas abschreckte. Es ist aber ein fein-süffiges Bier, das gut die tschechischen 12-grädigen Bier repräsentiert. Ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Appearance : Opaque black color. Huge, creamy, beige head.
Taste : Medium sweet, caramel, very light malty sour.
Palate : Medium body. Light sticky texture.
Overall : Sweet one.

Tap at Salón Piva. Golden color with stable white head. Malty aroma with bitter hops. Taste, malt followed by nice portion of bitter hops. Long hoppy bitter finish. Good.

Aroma : Roasty, sweet, light caramel.
Appearance : Dark brown - black color. All time, beige head.
Taste : Roasty, caramel, medium sweet.
Palate : Medium body. Light dry finish.
Overall : Nice dark.

Aroma : Sweet, light malty, light buttery.
Appearance : Light hazy, golden color. Medium, white head.
Taste : Light sweet, medium bitter, light spicy.
Palate : Medium body. Long bitter finish.
Overall : Good average.

Tap at RJ. Aroma diacetyl, caramel, honeyish. Light fruity. Deep amber to brown colour, clear. Fully lasting soft white head. Taste is far more interesting. Exciting interplay between fruity hops, caramel and biscuity malts, slightest hint of coffee. Light diacetyl. Rather bitter. Bitterness is moderate to high, generous. Overall surprisingly complex beer with a very good balance. Very good, just get rid of the diacetyl.
