About
King's Caffe pubs' production branch, starting by brewing at Vizir in Slovenia in 2017. In 2019, opened its microbrewery - Indeficienter, at Vere Bratonje 28 in Rijeka. In February 2022 moved its production to the King's Brew Brewpub at the former Rijeka main train station (Trg kralja Tomislava 1). All King's Caffe locations other than the Kolodvor brewpub separate under new ownership since 2023, with the brewpub being bought out to be refurbished in 2024.

Thanks, Vran for sharing. Clear golden, small off-white head. Celery and turnip aroma, obvious DMS, some malts and some sugars in the aroma. The flavor is better, soft herbal notes, bread and vegetable soup. Light to medium body, soft to moderate carbonation, light to moderate finish. Need work.

Bottle, 0.33l. Cloudy copper pour, three finger frothy off-white head. Pretty good retention, long lasting head. Lots of lacing in the glass. Nice on the nose, fresh, grainy and grassy notes, subtle fruity touches in the background. Light body, average carbonation. Light mouthfeel and texture, fizzy, prickly, slightly chewy. Medium bitter taste with subtle sweet and sour notes. Aroma is grains, grass, herbs. Dusty, mild fruity, subtle malt sweetness. Lingering mild herbal spiciness. Medium lasting finish, bitter and dry. Good.

Bottle, 0.5l. Dark copper pour, two finger frothy white head, medium lasting, ok retention. Average lacing on the glass. Malty on the nose, caramel with herbal and flowery notes in the background. Light body, soft to medium carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, slightly chewy, easily drinkable. Sweet taste with mild bitterness in the background. Malty aroma, caramel, slightly toasted, herbal, woody, mild spicy. Minerals, earthy notes, nutty. Short to medium lasting finish, dry. Solid thirst quencher.

Bottle, thanks Zdenko! Lovely coppery clean body, off white head. Carrot, caramel aroms. Caramelly maltiness with light carrot, lightly flowery, but earthy. Urgh.

Bottle, Goblet. Hazy dark amber, creamy lasting slightly off white head. Creamy malty aroma, a salty touch, dry. Malt and ham, but not smoked. Lean malty taste, empty, unappealing, bit yeasty-meaty, vague flowers. Flawed somewhat.
