1 l bottle from 'Hofladen Sauerland', 5.5% abv, best before April 2024. A little hazy, deep golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity-floral aroma of honey, apricot and some grains. Gently sweet, malty, slightly bitter, moderately fruity-floral taste of grains, straw, some honey and a touch of apricot, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Pleasant brew, very well-balanced, rather quaffable.

Good white head over clear copperish golden beer. Solvent, putty, preserved orange, sour oranges. No clove, no banana...? Sourish! Citrus, wheat. In the mouth there's just a trace of 1,4 guaiacol, but the citrussy acidity is much more notable. Refreshing! Light body, light oilyness. Miles away from the ubiquitous classic Bavarian Weizen. And none the worse for it. Txs to Stef!

1 l bottle from 'Hofladen Sauerland', best before March 2024. Hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral and a bit grassy aroma of lemon peel, banana, gooseberry, some honey and a touch of hay. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, fruity-floral and a little grassy taste of apricot, gooseberry, honey, some grains and a touch of hay, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very pleasant beer, great balance, high drinkability.

Dunkel getreidig-karamelliger Beginn. Moderate, konstant bleibende Herbe, würzig, hohe Süffigkeit. Geringe Bitterkeit, die Aromatik bleibt konstant und damit harmonisch, leicht erhöhte Karbonisierung. Malzig süß-herber Abgang, langer Nachhall. 9/11/11/11/9/11

Spritziger getreidiger Beginn mit deutlichem Hopfen, der eine frische Herbe mit sich bringt. Spritzig bleibend, kernig, würzig getreidig, ansteigende Bitterkeit. Süffig, würzig-hopfiger, knackig bitterer Abgang. Gut! 8/11/10/10/9/10
