Description
Sinds 1985 worden er maar liefst acht heerlijke Us Heit-speciaalbieren met passie gebrouwen door brouwmeester Aart van der Linde. In de productie en aanlevering van grondstoffen wordt uitsluitend gebruik gemaakt van leveranciers uit de omgeving. Het hele productieproces van onze producten is zodanig ingericht, dat we het hele proces van akkerbouwer tot consument zelf in de hand hebben. Wij kiezen heel bewust voor deze verantwoorde wijze van produceren. Niet omdat het goedkoper is, want de productie wordt niet simpeler of goedkoper, maar juist in het extra karakter wat wij aan onze producten mee kunnen geven door deze manier van brouwen en stoken.

Pours a clear amber/brown with a beige head. Aroma of malts, liquorice, spices, somewhat sugary. Medium sweet flavour. Not for me.

Bottle at home. Aroma is grainy malt, straw, some grassy notes, touch of floral-ish hops in the finish. Flavour is lightly sweetish and light to moderate bitter. Body is medium. More than acceptable Pilsener.

Bottle at home. Aroma is sweetish bready malt, straw, touch of caramel, slight dried fruity notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Lots of sweet malts, a bit too much for my taste.

Bottle from a friend. Aroma is dark malt, caramel, bit roasty, dried dark fruits with notes of dates and raisins, touch of liquorice. Flavour is sweet and mildly bitter. Body is medium. Not a bad Bock, a bit more roasty than most examples of the style.

Bottle at PRZH, Winterbierfestival, Gouda: Brown hazy brew from Friesland with taste of some caramel, named after the most famous Dutch skating tour on ice ofcourse.

Bottle at PRZH, Winterbierfestival, Gouda: Don’t like this brew, their was no head at all with this golden brew, and also to sweet. Pity. Joyful re-rating of this one. Bottle at Winterbierfestival, Gouda: Clear amber coloured brew with fine sweetbitter taste and hints of caramel.

Bottle 0,3ltr: Dark brown bockbier commisioned for the beershop Bert’s Bierhuis, Utrecht. An beer with an good roasty taste and some fruity taste in the back.

Bottle 0,3ltr: Hazy amber coloured brew with an fine sweet bitter taste, good hazy Friesland version of a Belgian Speciale Ale.
