Description
Booze Brothers Brewing Co. began in a garage in 2008, when two brothers, David and Donny Firth, discovered that beer was not only something you drink, but something you can brew yourself. The brewing “hobby” quickly grew into an obsession and as time wore on, threatened to take over their lives as well as their garage. In 2013 the brothers relocated their brewery to 2545 progress st. In Vista, CA and quickly expanded their operations into neighboring suites. By 2017 the brewery had grown to include a private event space, The Wood Shed, packaging in cans, as well as self-distribution throughout San Diego county. In January of 2020, they opened a new tasting room in Oceanside California.
Booze Brothers Brewing Co. focuses on innovative “classic” beers, with a portfolio of West Coast IPAs, Pale Ales, Wheat beers, Ambers, Browns and Stouts.

On a flight in Rose's Tasting Room, San Diego on 19th January 2022. White topping to the golden body, almost clear in nature. Citrus front to the nose and taste with a mini-sweetness behind the hoppiness.

No-frills, weak-sauce West Coast IPA, mostly a combination of striking pine-medicinal bitterness and loads of caramel malt. Undertones of oranges and berries, but otherwise a muddle. Another one of those underwhelming IPAs that hearken back to the late-Nineties days when brewpubs had to have a single IPA on the menu for the sake of variety.

On tap at barrel republic pours out crisp clean golden topped with a white head. Nose is pine floral hops and some sweet bread malts. Taste is more of the nice pine floral hop combo pithy bitter notes.
