Cloudy amber beer. Soft to dry palate. Light well integrated fruit. Spicy malt. Nothing dominates. Okay but a bit uninspiring.

31/III/2012 - 75cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: III/15 (2012-299)

Little cloudy pale orange to yellow beer, very creamy white head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very floral, violets, honey. MF: too much carbon, full body. Taste: some citrus, floral, very herbal, little malty, soft bitterness, little sugary and sweet, but not cloying or disturbing. Aftertaste: citrus fruits, bit sweet, fruity, floral, some citrus fruits, bitter finish, slightly alcoholic. Pretty good stuff.

Bottle at Vilvordia. Hazy yellow color, very high carbonation. This one has lots of fresh fruit in both the nose and the taste. Simple but refreshing.

Very special beer. Sweet, hints of flowers and elderberries. It doesn’t taste like beer, more like a sweet cider. Although a nice experiment.

Bottle @ VBPF’12.

Cloudy yellow to light orange beer, big white head, dissipates immediately. Aroma: same as the framboos, meaty, cheesy? Weird, stinks. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: cheesy, yeast, bit dirty, sour, minty. Aftertaste: lemony, raspberries.

Clear orange beer, big white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: raspberries, urine, cheesy, meat product (sausage?) MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: raspberries, little sweet, herbal, cheesy, sweet apples, spices. Aftertaste: alcohol, apple skin, cheese, meaty (paté?). Weird, but not bad.

9/III/2012 on tap @ De Heeren van Liedekercke (Denderleeuw) - BB: n/a (2012-223)

Mainly clear light blond beer, huge white head, somewhat adhesive. Aroma: fruity, yeast, some vegetables, hay, grassy. On swivelling the beer around a weird chemical rubbery or plastic smell comes out. MF: soft to no carbon, light body. Taste: faint fruits, some citrus, grains, sugary, in all pretty watery. Aftertaste: more grains, grassy, watery too. Lacks some punch.
