Can. Slightly cloudy gold with a lasting white head. Aroma of apricots, crackers, gentle spices. Light bodied. Dryish but fruity with a quite bitter finish. An earthy note I didn't care for joins the spices at the end.

Can. Black with a tan head that doesn't last. Aroma of chocolate, roast, whiskey, hints of Vegemite, vanilla. Palate fills up with rich sweetish and roasted flavours before the dam bursts and the richness is swept away with some bitterness, spices and oak coming in through the end. Like the non BA version, it's the balance of the finish that makes it for me.

Can. Clear dark brown with an inch of beige head that doesn't last all that well. Aroma of bread and breadcrust, chocolate, spices. A little more than medium bodied, highish carbonation. Malty with bread, chocolate and hints of dried fruit before gently spiced firm bitterness lifts it all away. Very good.

Can. Cloudy brown with a large beige head. Aroma is bready and spicy with some sticky crust and hints of banana. Slightly wonder whether there's rye in in because the bread meshes so well with the spices (cloves, pepper) - but no. Light bodied with high carbonation. Dryish with lots of twangy wheat and a riot of spices at the end. Some bitterness. Not much banana, which suits me. Maybe a little too much clove at the end which detracts from the softness a bit. Pretty good.

Can. Almost opaque yellowish orange with a doming inch + of white head. Aroma of lime, grapefruit, crackers, sharp passionfruit. Almost austere but there's just a hint of richness and enough body to support the rippling Riwaka which gets more passionfruity toward the moderately bitter finish. Just the right side of brusque. As usual, this session beer is nothing like it - it's an excellent dustcutter but would be tiring over several pints.

Can. Unclear deep brown with a beige head than soon vanishes. Aroma has obvious bourbon atop strong bread, prunes, light spices. Taste follows for a while with the Bourbon holding up the beer's presence without making it sweeter then adding some complementing oak to the spicy and moderately bitter finish. Good, gives needed structure - at least relative to the 2020 non BA version.

Can. Nearly black with a small tan head that doesn't last. Gentle - weak, even - aroma of fudge, roast, perhaps some spices. But much more presence upon a sip: bittersweet with roast, chocolate, some dark berries, strong bread, light spices. Full bodied, medium low carbonation. Great balance for me - plenty of hops but they remain a supporting player.

Can. Just unclear yellow with a small fountain of chunks in this nucleated glass. An island of white head. 3- Mild funky aroma with apricot, twigs, hints of pineapple. Light bodied, slightly slippery, fairly fizzy. Sour, acidic, a little astringent. Liked it better as it warmed to ~12C. Tangy wheat, really only enough pineapple to accentuate what the Brett is already is doing (rather than the other way around). Refreshing.

(Can) Pours slightly hazy pale straw with tiny white head. Slightly funky aroma with citrus and vinous notes and cheesy hints. Very good mouthfeel with light body and plenty of soft carbonation. Pleasantly and refreshingly sour with earthy hints. Unusual, refreshing and very drinkable.

Can. Hazy orange with a cm of white head. Juicy aroma of orange, ruby grapefruit, greenish mango, bread. Light bodied. Dry. The fruity hops don't have much to sit on and fall away on the palate. Astringent and burnt herbs but not much bitterness at the end. Tradeoffs that don't work for me.
