Can. Pale amber with an inch of white head. Aroma of spiced dough, flowers, light spices, apricots, a little orange. At first creamy textured but gradually bitterness and spice (white pepper, cloves) sharpen the palate a bit. Similarly, it's richly malty with stone fruit but then that all gets whisked away towards the end. Maybe the alcohol should show a little more, but again this is really impressive.

Can. Pale gold with a white head that never quite disappears. 3+ Funky aroma with white wine, green berries, stinky tropical fruit, crackery dough. Medium bodied, lacto slippery like kefir. Less fruity taste with firm hay like malt, some almost sour fruity notes, spicy/ woody/ bitter end. Another good one.

Can. Very cloudy gold with a fluffy white head that fades but laces well. 3+ Aroma of Meyer lemon, honeydew melon, lychees, crackers - I would have guessed Enigma tbh. Dryish with firm crackery malt, punchy just ripe fruit, a burst of pepper at the end. Taut, good.

From a 375ml can on 16/3/2021. Pours an opaque amber with no head. Smells, of dark and dried fruit, spice and booze. The same is evident on the taste, along with some caramel, toffee and nuts. It's quite sweet up front but has a reasonably firm bitter boozy finish. Definitely a slow sipper but it holds the 14% pretty well. The mouthfeel is syrupy, the carbonation soft. Got much better as it opened up. It certainly has a few rough edges, but there's a fair bit going on. Might be quite interesting sometime down the track.

Can, 14C. Clear deep brown with no head. Aroma of bread, brandy, prunes, mace. Getting on for syrupy. Medium to low carbonation. Very sweet and fairly bitter with stewed fruit and layers of dark sugars. Boozy, bitter and spicy at the end. Released 9/20 and about ready now but I'd guess I'd like it more in one or two years.

Can. Just unclear yellow. A wisp of white head is very soon gone. Funky aroma with crackers, pears and woody peach. A bit slippery. Quite high carbonation. Dry so the fruit is less prominent than suggested by the aroma. A little sour and separately acid at the end. Soft pretzels. Some bracken at the end. Refreshing.

Can. Slightly hazy gold with a large fluffy white head. Aroma of old lemon funk, crackers, peach, some greenish mango, pineapple. Light bodied, a bit fizzy. Sour and fruity with a dry end that's only slightly bitter. Quite similar to the Bridge Rd Hoppy Sour. Very nice. I wonder whether the Brett will change it over a few months.

Can. This October 20 version is hopped with Nelson Sauvin. Almost opaque pale orange with a puffy cm or so of white head. Aroma of gooseberries, grass, wintery oranges, some herbal notes. Smooth creamy texture with lowish carbonation. Some crackers but little distinct on the malt side of things. The fruitiness of the aroma is a little subdued but spices, vague citrus and a little resin grip along with moderate bitterness and a slight astringency towards the end. Pretty good. Modern vagueness of palate is a drawback for me.

Can. About 14C in Rodenbach Grand Cru glass. Reddish brown with a beige head that hangs on indefinitely as a coat. Aroma is moody and woody with forest floor, chocolate, twigs, old oranges, oak. Somewhat slippery with some acid but it's not thinned. Moderate carbonation. Gently sour and quite woody in a way that gives structure to the fruit, chocolate and singed toffee. Not quite as good as Earthmonk, but in the neighbourhood. A very good beer from an exciting newish brewery.

(Can) Pours hazy golden with big white head. Lovely aroma of yeast with peppery notes. Light body with excellent mouth filling carbonation. Great taste too. There’s plenty of yeast, peppery spice, lemon, hints of dough and banana. There’s some pleasant bitterness in the finish too. Very enjoyable.
