On tap at The Living Tap, pours a clear blonde with a medium white head. Aroma is bright and fresh, with a nice herbaceous character is classic helles fashion, along with a crisp crackery malt base. Flavour is a little less invigorating, with crisp biscuity malt and a touch of herbaceousness. The nose was more promising—the flavour falls a bit flat but is still refreshing and clean. Decent.

(Bottle) clear, fluorescent bright golden yellow colour with a small white head; aroma of grass, hint of sourness and spiciness; balanced, rich flavor with a long, medium bitter finish; better than many macro German equivalents

On cask at BitterCreek. Rich golden pour, with a thick white head, thicker than you'd normally see on a cask ale. Malty aroma, nobel hops. Taste is malty with a bit of bitterness, the hops bringing some oily and sticky feel. Quite nice, especially on cask.

500ml glass from Press, pint glass late night @home. There are no blogs, only cider rants. Half hazy, flat, boring pale gold pour. Yeasty, veggie, apple compote, green chili, pepperoni hot trash. What? Pear sweetness, flat green chilis, minerally apple essence, bitter veg & clay. Half sour, mellow tartness, weird smoke, rubber, odd paprika & vinegar finish. Semi-sweet & sloppy. Medium low carb. Soft & needy. I'm confused. Can't finish this.

500ml bottle from Press in Seattle. Mojito glass @home. Pours a not quite clear, oily, orange gold. Big soda sizzle. If there was some pink in there, this one got old & faded. Earthy, murky/unripe fruit nose with a touch of sour. Zippy tartness & astringent berry-ness. Pit, wax, Pippin sour, minerally, long yeasty finish. Could have done with a smidge of sweetness. Harsh carbonation, thin & a bit bit boozy Low point of the few I tried.
