440ml can. Hazy yellow, white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, slightly vinous. Taste is fruity, juicy, tropical, and a bit of a vinous note which tastes remarkably like what you get from Nelson hops. Fantastic session gear.

Can. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light smooth malt base, sweet enough, supports a vibrant fruity hop attack. Bright melange of citrus, including mild touches of lemon and lime, even a pinch of sherbet. Soft pine overlaying soft peachy tropical fruits. Finishes light with some hop spice starting to bite. Wow, finally, one of these hop treatments actually makes a difference. Such a delightful and complex fruit attack on this one.

Shared 440ml can with minutemat after our mini-rare regions tasting evening on 15th March 2023. The Boot, Wellington. Decent white crown on a misty golden body. Citra hops doing their thing giving off citrus aromas and flavours, there does appear to be a lot of Citra hops around at the moment, just saying!

Smooth citrus, slightly ripe orange and a little tangerine from the Citra. Swamps any Nelson. A pinch of hop spice in the finish. Standard dipa all said but done well and very drinkable. No Azacca in this edition.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours almost black with minimal cream head and good lacing. There’s roast malts in the aroma and these continue into the mouth where it has a smooth texture. Along with oats and dandelion and burdock. Plenty of chocolate comes through later, plus hints of burnt toast. Finish is slightly dry. This is quite nice. N.B. this is a review of my beer. My friend’s beer (poured 10 mins later) was noticeably different with very little chocolate and a strange metallic taste.
