can thanks to awiseman01, pours light copper/deep gold with a medium white head. Aroma is full of nice citrus and grassy hop notes, really nice nose. Flavor is fairly sweet with pale malts and again some grassy notes that are turned bitter with huge notes of pine, peach and citrus hops. Flavorful stuff.

Sampled from the tap at 2010 FOBAB. Poured a clear deep orange amber with an off-white head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma had a slight smoke note with a nice grain note with some caramel as well. Flavor began with grains and got sweeter with a biscuit note and bourbon coming out in the finish.

Sampled from the tap at 2010 FOBAB. Poured a clear gold with a yellowish gray head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had a nice bourbon note with backing sweet grain and biscuit and a hint of caramel. Flavor was mainly sweet grain with a light fruit (apple) presence and bourbon note to round out the beer.

Draft. Clear deep amber body with a frothy, off-white head. Moderate aroma of caramel and toast. Hint of raw grain, herbal hops and earthiness. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes the same. Medium body, watery texture and soft carbonation. Average. Husky and slightly unclean. Could use livelier carbonation.

draft at Mad Anthony Oktobeerfest - Pours clear yellow-orange with a big white head and a caramel malt aroma. The flavor is toasted caramel malt and mild hops. The medium body is smooth and pleasant and overall this is a pretty good marzen.

Can thanks to LtDan. Pours with a clear golden body and a large, off-white head. Aroma of grass, earth, pine and caramel. Light citrus and some tea. Flavors of pine, earth, gelatin, dust, bitter, soil. A bit metallic. Very light sweetness in the finish of the second sip. Medium bubbles, decently dry and lastingly bitter finish. (3.1)
Pint at Fresh Craft. Pours with a clear golden-orange hued body with a foamy white head. Aromas are citrusy, flowery, floral, low caramel and some tamarind. Flavors are clean, grainy, low bitterness and mild esters. Tangerine, pine and grapefruit. Medium caramel and toasty malt. Fuller carbonation with a lower body.

Can thanks to LtDan. Pours with a slightly hazed golden body and a fading white head. Aroma of grass, grain, vanilla, cereal, and light caramel. Some corn too, but not nearly as much as in other cream ales. Taste is light, crisp, grassy and lightly peppery. Not really a whole lot going on, but it isnβt bad at all. Nothing offensive that I can find. Maybe a bit of pear or light ester. Dry and crisp. Medium bubbles. Pretty decent. Drinkable for sure.

Sample from can at the Beer βN Rock Band tasting on 08/27/2010: The beer is a clear golden color with a medium fluffy off-white head that recedes slowly. Thin sheet of lacing at the top of the glass with spots underneath. Hoppy aroma with primarily citrus notes, along with a touch of malt. Medium body with hops and zesty citrus flavors along with malty notes. The finish is hoppy with a citrus aftertaste. Straightforward, decent Pale Ale overall.
