Pours a dark, hazed yellow to orange. Small white head fades instantly. Scent is fruitpuree, mango, milder passion fruit. Taste is surprisingly sour - though it's counterbalanced by the big amount of fruitpuree. Simple lactic acid though, not overly complex as a basebeer. Saltyness is fairly hidden (just a sprinkle) , fruit remains a bit of a generic, fruitpuree mess. Decent, not really loving this though.

(Keg at Pien Brewpub, 20211222) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had sweetness, chocolate, cocoa beans and vanilla. Palate was medium bodied and sticky sweet with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, chocolate, vanilla, burnt malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, burnt and bitter. A very sweet brew that fortunately had so strong burnt notes that succeeded in cancelling the sweetness at the finish.

Pours black with full tan head. Aromas of mixed nuts, chocolate and creamy roasted malts. Flavors of chocolate praline, soy sauce umami, dark raisins, licorice and oily roasted malts. Great stuff.
