Bottle Clear, blond body. Off-white, frothy head. Nose of hops, yeast, fine malts. Quite good aroma for a pilsener. Lightly bitter initial flavour, moderately bitter finish. A very nice pilsener!!

(swing top bottle) Pale golden colour with a big frothy white head. Grainy malty and hoppy nose. Light to medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Light sweet malty taste with a medium dry, slightly bitter finish. Better than most other Gold Beers.

(Bottle 33 cl) In 2004 this was a brand new beer from the brewery in Flensburg. The strongest beer I’ve had from this brewery. Perhaps a little surprising this is a light bock. A dark, malty, rich doppelbock might be a more suitable choice for the season. Light amber color with a tall, full head. Very rich and alcoholic, very sweet. Obviously a lot of malt has been used here, and there might be a slight, underlying alcoholic tone. But it’s definitely a beer which is a quality product. Controlled bitterness. 111104

(Bottle 33 cl) Deep orange - almost coppery - with a surprisingly almost absent head. Extremely full-bodied almost oily character with huge fruity notes and an almost toffeeish flavour. A very different Hefe but a pleasant surprise. 080402

Bottle: Yellow to orangey coloured, fluffy, mid-sized head, slowly diminishing; fruity nose: cloves, bananas, a tinge of mushrooms; mild fruity taste, soft texture; slightly tart and bitter finish, traces of mushrooms again; all in all a bit thin bodied, lacks some complexity, but it is refreshing, though.

(swing top bottle) Clear and dark amber colour with a medium tanned foamy head. Slightly sweet roastmalty nose with caramel. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied. Sweet malty taste with toffee and a slight hoppy and thin finish. Not bad, but it could have had more body.

(swing top bottle) Hazy and murky orange colour with a big foamy white head. Wheat malty nose with a touch of citrus. The beginning maltiness and fruitiness turns quickly into a clovy, dry and bitter finish. Not best balanced but very pleasant for me.

Frothy good head, mostly lasting. Yellow colour, ok aroma, nbut it doesnt taste good, moderate bitterness is overwelmed by an awfull acetic taste. I wont try this again.
