0.33 l bottle from 'EDEKA Knudtsen', best before March 2027. Hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, moderately grassy, minimally floral aroma of grains, straw and traces of honey. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly floral and a little grassy taste of grains, straw, some honey and light nettles, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Solid, quite well-balanced.

Can from Raynville Superstore. It pours lightly hazy copper - amber with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, perfumed, custard creams, bread & butter pudding, toasty spice, cereal, nuttiness, melon and pear. The taste is smooth, hearty malts, bready, cakey, biscuit, bitter - sweet, toasty nut, woody, earthy, spice, wood, nip of booze, pear and melon with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not much depth, but provides a good boost.

Nice radler. Quite refreshing after a 3500m row in 30C heat. Could have a little more depth, a little more expressive fruit, and/or just a little citric bite. As it is, drinkable enough.
