Crowler. Opaque black liquid with small light tan head. Aroma of coffee, light licorice, light bread, light ash, toast and dried fruit. Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of coffee, light licorice and light toast. Full bodied with medium carbonation. Nice.

Crowler shared late-night during RBWG 2016 - cheers! Pours clear, deep brown with a creamy off-white head. Nice roasted malts and toasted pine in the nose, some earth, orange. Light-medium sweet flavor with moderate roast, rindy citrus, cocoa, burnt pine. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dry and bitter roast on the finish, ash, baking cocoa, burnt pine. Not bad.

Growler - Dark malts and some pine. Deep dark brown with a beige head. Dark roasty and piney notes. Nice bitterness.

Crawler. Clear deep brown liquid with medium light tan head. Aroma of fresh hops, coffee, weed, tangerine, grain and bread. Taste is very light sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of tangerine, coffee and citrus. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice.

Poured from a crowler. Aroma is very hop forward with lots of grapefruit, orange, and tropical fruit. Some lighter pine resin. Light cracker malt notes with hints of toasted bread. Pours a hazy, golden orange with a fairly large, thick, frothy, slightly off white head that steadily recedes to a thin film that lingers. High amount of lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with some cracker and light caramel notes. The cracker note lingers into the finish, but takes on a slightly toasted note. Medium high bitterness with medium high hop notes. Hop character is oranges with tropical fruit and grapefruit. Some medium light resin and dank notes. A bit of a fresh hop note. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, this may be my favorite of the beers I tried from this brewery. Good, fruitier hop profile, decent mouthfeel and malt profile.

Poured from a crowler. Aroma is fairly hoppy with some balanced light caramel and moderate cracker malt notes. Hop profile is standard C hops with lots of grapefruit and pine resin. Hints of onion and dank notes. Pours a slightly hazy, copper orange color with a large, white head that steadily recedes to the edges. Moderately high lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with quite a bit of cracker and some toasted bread notes. Lighter caramel character. Medium high bitterness. Moderate hop notes with grapefruit and pine resin being most prevalent. Some light onion, dank notes as well. Finish is just bitter water. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation, but for some reason it has a bit of a watery character to it in the finish. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a n alright pale ale, but the finish and mouthfeel were a bit lackluster. Hop profile is pretty traditional, and by today’s standards, boring. Clean beer though. Somehow this thing needs more body.

Poured from a crowler. Aroma is dank and piney. Lots of pine resin and forest floor notes with some light onion. Moderate grapefruit and light stone fruit. Some light caramel notes and medium light cracker malt character. Pours a fairly clear, bright yellow gold with a large, thick and frothy, white head that shows nice retention as it slowly recedes. Moderately high lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with some medium light caramel notes and a bit of cracker as well. Medium high bitterness. Some moderate hop notes with pine resin, wood and grapefruit being most prevalent. Some lighter onion and stone fruit. Light alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright beer. Not my preferred hop profile and it had a bit too much caramel malt and sweetness for me. Clean fermentation though.

On tap at Brashland. Pours a hazy orange woth small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong dank, pine, citrus. Medium mouth, strong pine, dank, light citrus, nice bitterness, really nice.
