Bottle 33 cl. Pours black with an orange hue and and a small, rough, beige head - very dark for a BW. Amazing and sweet aroma of licorice allsorts - plenty of vanilla. Very rich body, almost flat, intense notes of maple syrup and molasses. Cloyingly sweet and hard to drink, but very delicious. 020326

Can 44 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a lacing, white head. Citrusy nose, spicy and dank. Rich, sweet fruity body, quite to the sweet side with a subdued bitterness. 020326

Aroma features the barrels prominently, lots of bourbon, oak, dark chocolate, bit of maple and vanilla.
Taste is quite rich, loads of bourbon and oak, dark chocolate, liquorice, prominent savoury/umami note (soy?), a lot of maple sweetness, vanilla gets a bit lost, warming boozy finish though I wouldn't have guessed as high as 15%

Deep amber colour, small white head. Aroma is honey, alcohol, some wood. Flavour is sweet honey, malts, toffee and alcohol. Nutmeg also.

Can 44 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque golden - yet again with this tiny, ugly, riugh, white head that seems to be the norm for Blackout beers. Intensely, spicy, herbal, piney aroma on a very sweet, andfruity backdrop. Hardly any carbonation. Some finishing bitterness. Ugly looks, amazing aroma and way too sweet. 260226

Can 44 cl. Pours a pale yellow with a small, very riugh, white head. Intense and spicy Nelson aroma. Medium body, very fruity, grapey and vinous with some sweetness leading into a rather dry and bitter finish. Nice. 260226

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a thick, opaque black leaving fatty curtains and no head. Nose is mainly roast and chocolate. Medium body, same roast and chocolate but everything is overpowered by an extreme, infected tartness. Flawed and directly unpleasant. 250226

Bottle 33 cl. Pours thick and black like motor oil leaving fatty curtains in the class. The head is tiny and brown. Lovely sweet aroma of coconut and vanilla with coffee lurking in the background. Rich sweet roast with dominating coconut. Low carbonation and an odd, disturbing tartness. Good yet flawed. 250226
