Bottle. Pours cloudy nearly black with very small dark tan head. Clear aroma of chocolate, oranges, and malt, with touches of vanilla. Bitter, roasty onset with notes of chocolate and vanilla, and touches of oranges, malt, and yeast. Roasty aftertaste with choco touches and hints of citrus. Low carbonation, but it does not matter in this beer style. Warming alcohol presence. Yummy. Thank you, MiP, for this lovely birthday persent.

Bottle, 11%. Aroma of dark chocolate and chocolate powder. Also orange. Black colour. Almost no head. The flavour has chocolate and orange. Very low carbonation. Oily mouthfeel. Quite sweet. Tastes good, but could do with a little more carbonation.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque oily, thick black with no head leaving fatty curtains. Amazing aroma where you can detect coconut, vanilla and maple syrup in a lovely melange. Thick body, completely flat. Not particularly roasty. Same flavor notes as above, but unfortunately also a very dominant sourness, that kinda spoils it for me. Warming finish but not exactly boozy. 190326

Bottle 33 cl. Pours thick and oily black leaving fatty curtains and only an ultra short, brownish film of a head. Super complex aroma of greasy syrup, coffee and vanilla. Rich body, low carbonation, subtle roast, ashy roast and a berry tartness. The sweetness from the aroma has vanished. No bitterness, the exit is tartness which is a pity. 180326

330ml can. Pours a somewhat gloopy dark brown, no head so to speak (I did shake the can as instructed but still got some clumps of coconut, but the beer itself is cohesive and not separated).
Aroma is full on dark chocolate and coconut, bourbon.
Taste is rich and coconutty dark chocolate with boozy bourbon mixed in, this is almost like a liqueur, sweet but not as much as I expected it to be.
Thick creamy body, marred only by the clumps of coconut.
A gorgeous decadent stout.

330ml bottle. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate (cocoa powder), coffee, coconut. Taste is rich, sweet, loads of chocolate, coffee, coconut, slight savoury note (soy?), in the finish some roasty malt/coffee bitterness and gentle boozy bourbon. Full bodied, creamy texture.

Smell of grapes, malt, some spices. Cloudy deep brown colour, tiny beige head. Aroma of malt, cough mixture, nutmeg, some dried fruit. Sweet. Thick texture, soft carbon. Funky.
