Full body, light carbonation. tastes boozy, spices, cinnamon, coconut, wine notes. finishes lightly bitter sweet with notes of spices, coconut and wine. Nice overall, tad boozy but good balance, bit gimmicky

Bottle 33 cl. Pours black with an orange hue and and a small, rough, beige head - very dark for a BW. Amazing and sweet aroma of licorice allsorts - plenty of vanilla. Very rich body, almost flat, intense notes of maple syrup and molasses. Cloyingly sweet and hard to drink, but very delicious. 020326

330ml bottle. Pours black with a small dark brown head.
Aroma features the barrels prominently, lots of bourbon, oak, dark chocolate, bit of maple and vanilla.
Taste is quite rich, loads of bourbon and oak, dark chocolate, liquorice, prominent savoury/umami note (soy?), a lot of maple sweetness, vanilla gets a bit lost, warming boozy finish though I wouldn't have guessed as high as 15%
Full bodied, smooth.

Can 44 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque golden - yet again with this tiny, ugly, riugh, white head that seems to be the norm for Blackout beers. Intensely, spicy, herbal, piney aroma on a very sweet, andfruity backdrop. Hardly any carbonation. Some finishing bitterness. Ugly looks, amazing aroma and way too sweet. 260226
