Clear glass bottle purchased in Nassau. Very light malt aroma. Medium yellow color with moderate head. Light barley and corn malt flavor - smooth without skunkiness. Easy drinking for those hot Bahamian days and a much better choice than the ubiquitous Corona.

A light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with a fresh hop note. But the flavor is a mixture of sweet and sour, with the sourness coming from corn or other brewing cereal, but also with a faint hint of malt. I’d like to go to the Bahamas - but not for this beer.....

(Bottle 35.5 cl) Pours a clear, pilsener golden with a decent, white head. Completely neutral aroma, I really cannot pick up anything. Medium body, malty with quite a bitter hoppy finish. 070606

Bottled. Pale golden, minimal head. Bready corn aroma. Clean flavour profile without any of the expected vegetables or alcohol. Better than feared, but lack of foulness doesn’t make it good...

Botled. Pale golden. Cereal aroma. Sweet and clean, light bodied with low bitterness. Fizzy and boring.

I have to admit, I am normally quite derisive about people walking out of the liquor store with six-packs of clear-glass tropical lager, but it's a little different when you're one of them, like I was the other day. So this beer has won three Monde Selection medals for quality. Let's put that to the test. They must rate from opaque plastic cups because this beer has not only a chill haze and distinct lack of head, but also the bubbles are too large and too plentiful (they cover the inside of the glass completely). Aroma wise, I'm just happy it isn't skunked. Actually it seems quite fresh indeed, with a mixture of light grassy hops and wonderbread, with plastic undertones. The body is light, watery, and leaning towards the malt (for what it's worth in a tropical lager). Aside from the visual issues and the prickly carbonation, it does seem better-made than most in its peer group.

Nice lawnmower type beer from Bahamas. Some skunkyness, and the head is big and bubbly, but collapses quickly. No skunkyness in te mouth, but more hops than expected.

Pale gold and fizzy. Skunky (clear glass) aroma with light musty background. Fizzy mouthfeel but surprisingly full in body (actually medium bodied but full for style) with a little creaminess under the fizz. Some malt flavor, some skunk, and med-bitter finish. In some ways a really bad beer but at the same time better than expected in other areas. Finishable.
