Heller, trocken getreidiger Antrunk. Milde Süße, laff herb bleibend. Nur wenig würzig, langweilig. Trocken herber, erstaunlich langer Nachhall. 7/7/8/7/8/7

Shared 12 oz. bottle. Pours an unnatural looking straw-yellow with a white head. Aroma of grains and skunk. Taste is skunk, grains, and more skunk. Ugh.

Bottle brought back to UK from Nassau, Bahamas. Pours golden with a bubbly white head. Aroma of corn. grass, malt and alcohol. Pretty sweet, light bitterness. Light/medium body. Sticky texture. Marginally better than standard Kalik but Kalik light edges it of the 3 I’ve tried from this brewer.

Bottle brought back to uk from a visit to Nassau, Bahamas. Pale golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of light hop, corn and grass. Fairly sweet, light bitterness. Light body. Not one of the better Caribbean pale lagers.

Bottle received in trade. Brilliantly clear light golden color with a decent but short lived bubbly white head. Skunk in spades as soon as I pop the cap it envelopes the room. It slowly fades but it is constant in the aroma and flavor. Light crackery bready malt with some residual sweetness, carbonic bite, and faint hop presence. I guess I could say I’ve had worse and maybe these aren’t always light struck. If I find myself in the Bahamas I will try again.

Bottle my wife brought back from a cruise to Bahamas. Pale gold in colour with a small white head. Aroma of corn, grass, very light malt. Not too sweet, light bitterness. Light bitterness to finish. Not a fan of this style but thought that as light beers go, this wasn’t so bad.

Bottle, as Kalik Crisp. Very pale gold with a sudsy white head. Aroma is grainy with some cardboard, slight but definite hop notes of lemon and light spices. And the slight hop notes are there in the taste too, but that’s about it. There’s mild lollyish sweetness that’s a bit papery. Some bitterness at the end. The bottle claims there’s malt in this but you wonder. Poor for a pale lager.
