12th June 2024
Keg at Craft Beer Junction. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, whisper of grain, nothing serious. Light but crisp pine. Light citrus, bright but somewhat mild in the intensity department. Modest peel bitterness and a little hop spice on the crisp finish. Tidy.

Keg at Three Hounds, Beckenham. Aroma is sweet: malts, yeast and bananas. Slightly opaque gold. Thin foamy white head. The flava mirrors the aroma. Sweet and citrusy. Yeastie. Malty. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Just not a fan. Too sweet for me... it's sickly. Definitely better than a macro lager but it's just doesn't suit me.
